Conservatory students perform at Rotary Youth Instrumental Music Contest

Last Thursday (2/8), 6 students from the Conservatory for Leadership & the Arts performed at the 1st Annual Rotary District 5340 Youth Instrumental Music Contest.

After a night of many amazing performances, two students from San Marcos (Isabelle Jamois and Chelsea Strayer) finished in the top 3 and were awarded prize money for winning the contest.

They will now both advance to the regional contest and if successful, they can advance to the state level contest and have the opportunity to win a $2500 grand prize.
