My experiences as an adjudicator and guest conductor have taken me all over our country. I’ve judged state championships for concert band in numerous states such as Massachusetts, Colorado, and Oregon and I have been going to Midwest since 1989. I can honestly say that the San Marcos High School Wind Symphony is among the finest high school bands that I’ve ever heard.

I had the opportunity to witness the expertise and passion for music that exists in this program… (they) represent the best teaching and performance in the great state of California.
