Music Clinic at Double Peak School

On Tuesday (3/13), the SMHS Wind Symphony spent the morning at Double Peak School (K-8) working with Director Mr. McGhee and the Double Peak Symphonic Winds.

The session included work on our warm-up exercises (Balance Exercise / Harmony Exercises) with both the Middle School and High School students commenting on the groups performance, Mr. Radant leading a clinic on the piece, With Each Sunset, Comes the Promise of a New Day (Richard Saucedo), a performance of Adam Gorb’s Awayday by the SMHS Wind Symphony, and sight-reading music that the SMHS students played many years ago when they were students at SEMS.

It was an amazing morning of shared music, shared performances, shared memories, and shared inspiration!
